Vero and Amy have gone to see Marie Claire to go to a material shop. Slack Dad wishes he could have gone to "see the best collection of woven goods this side of the Rhine" but, o dear, has a kilo of papers to mark instead.....
A lame connection, but since marking is all numbers and counting up the marks wrongly I've been thinking about some figures:
6.2 - is the number in kilos that Amy now weighs. She is officially heavier than Sumo Pepper our black-on-a-diet-cat (see below somewhere).
62 - is the length of Amy in centimeters. I don't suppose it's 62 centimeters 'tall'.
70 is the age of Amy in days. She's getting on a bit now. It's all down hill from there really.
37 - the number of socks she has
7 - the size of shoes she wears. OK, I'm guessing here but the boot things she's wearing today are pretty small
15 - minutes slack dad has fended on his own in the house without them both so far this afternoon.
1 - the number of times the self-playing piano has played today.
90 - is the number of visitor we've had on this site. I'm quite surprised since this whole blog thing was only for a few relatives really. As a challenge - get all your friends to tell their friends about us, and we can have a party when the visitor counter gets to 100!
20 - the number of minutes on the motorway (see pic.) between Armentieres and and its satellite town, Lille
400g - the amount of papers still left to mark...
